International Informatization Academy (Canada) had been approved as a General Manager of two water bottling projects.

Water bottling plants in Russia (Baikal) and in Kyrgyzstan with capacities of one million liters per day (each plant).

In May 2004 IIA organized a business trip of representatives of ZAO "Life of Baikal" (Russia) and "Global Mountain Water Resources" (Kyrgyzstan) to Luxembourg and France to visit facilities of "Husky" and "Sidel", the main technology and equipment suppliers for the Water bottling projects.

This trip became available because of "Husky" representation office in Moscow.

 

 
Projects

In April 2004 IIA organized a business trip to Irkutsk Oblast (Russia) for the representatives of "Sidel" and "Husky". On April 20, 2004 our delegation had very productive meeting with

 

Hon. A. Bitarov, the First Deputy Governor of Irkutsk Oblast. Hon. A. Bitarov confirmed that this project has high priority for his government and will have all necessary support from it.

On April 21 the delegation participated in the public hearing of the project in Slyudyanka region of Irkutsk Oblast. Over 150 people including deputies of the local Duma, representatives of local government participated on that meeting. Mr. Ph. Sarazin, the head of "Sidel" representation office in Russia and Mr. M. Kuzman, the head of "Husky" representation office in Russia answered to all questions related to the implementation of the project as well to ecological aspects of the project.

On November 27, Prof. Azat Vartanian amd Mr. Donald Hill met with

 

 


 

Hon. Peter Mesheau, the Minister of business and other officials. During these meetings, future cooperations between IIA and the Government of New Brunswick we discussed. Issues discussed included, implementation of two major projects at the port Belledune, the refinery and bunkering services.

On November 26, Prof. Azat Vartanian, the President of IIA-Canada and Mr. Donald Hill, the financial advisor, had the opportunity to meet with:

 


 

Hon. Bernard Lord, the Premier of New Brunkswick and other high officials.

Because we firmly believe that New Brunswick will be strong when all of its regions are strong, we are reaching out to potential new investors in Quebec in order to bring greater opportunity and greater prosperity to our province."

 
Meetings

On December 11, 2003, Prof. Azat Vartanian, President of IIA-Canada, Mr. Vasily Saikov, the Mayor of Slyudyanka, as well as a group of businessmen representing ZAO "Life Water of Baikal" met with

 

 

Hon. Dr. Irina I. Dumova, the Deputy Governor of Irkutsk Region
During this meeting, the project of implementing a modern water bottling plant on the Lake Baikal was discussed.
Dr. Dumova confirmed that this project was welcomed and supported by Regional and Local Governments.

 

 
Projects

In July 2003, the International Informatization Academy organized the visit of Garni Dance Group of Montreal to Russia (Moscow) and Armenia (Yerevan).

 


 

Both concerts were very successful and very welcomed by the people.

The first concert took place on July 3, 2003 at Moscow's Central State Concert Hall "Russia".

The second concert was held on July 8, 2003 at Yerevan's Comedy and Musical Theatre after Hakop Paronyan.

Two other charitable concerts were organized in the cities of Garni and Razdan.

These concerts were all devoted to "Canada Day" and "Canadian Multiculturalism Day".

Missions

In February 2002, the International Informatization Academy had great success during the Team-Canada's Mission to Russia.

 

The International Informatization Academy signed6 agreements during this mission. The total value of these agreements was $ 123M.
