In July 2003, as part of the cultural activities of the Academy, the IIA organized the trip/visit of Garni Dance Group of Montreal to Russia (Moscow) and Armenia (Yerevan).

Both concerts were very successful and very welcomed by the people.

The first concert took place on July 3, 2003 at Moscow's Central State Concert Hall "Russia".

The second concert was held on July 8, 2003 at Yerevan's Comedy and Musical Theatre after Hakop Paronyan.

Two other charitable concerts were organized in the cities of Garni and Hrazdan.

These concerts were all devoted to "Canada Day" and "Canadian Multiculturalism Day".
