Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan leaded by Mr. A. Krasnov, the Chief of the Agro Department of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Adviser to the Prime-Minister visited Montreal.

The delegation continued to work on agricultural project and visited several farms in Quebec. Visit was organized in cooperation with Ministry of Agriculture of Quebec, MIQ, and some farms.

 

February 2002

 

In February 2002 IIA-Canada participated in Team-Canada Mission to Russia. Mission was leaded by Hon. Jean Chrétien, the Prime Minister of Canada. Hon. Bernard Landry, the Prime Minister of Quebec as well other leaders of provinces participated in Mission.

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien witnessed on February 15 the signing of 77 new business deals by Canadian enterprises during the Russia portion of the Team Canada 2002 trade mission. The deals, totalling $337.151 million.
