Meeting with Hon. G. Mamedov, the Ambassador of Russia to Canada




On October 21, 2004, IIA - Canada organized the meeting with Ambassador of Russia to Canada.

Representatives of business communities from Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Florida (USA)

participated at that meeting.

Meeting was devoted to results of visit of Hon. Paul Martin, the Prime Minister of Canada to Russia and potentials of cooperation between Canada and Russia.

This event was organized in cooperation with Consulate General of Russia in Montreal, Trade Commissioner of Russia in Montreal and Lapointe Rosenstein Law Firm.


Meeting with Premier of New Brunswick



On November 26, Prof. Azat Vartanian, the President of IIA-Canada and Mr. Donald Hill, the financial advisor, had the opportunity to meet with:



Hon. Bernard Lord, the Premier of New Brunkswick and other high officials.


"For the first time ever, a team of government officials and community business leaders are joining forces to lead a delegation into Montreal," Lord said. "This investment initiative will be focused on building strategic partnerships with Quebec-based businesses. Because we firmly believe that New Brunswick will be strong when all of its regions are strong, we are reaching out to potential new investors in Quebec in order to bring greater opportunity and greater prosperity to our province."

Meeting with Minister of Business

On November 27, Prof. Azat Vartanian amd Mr. Donald Hill met with




Hon. Peter Mesheau, the Minister of business and other officials. During these meetings, future cooperations between IIA and the Government of New Brunswick we discussed. Issues discussed included, implementation of two major projects at the port Belledune, the refinery and bunkering services.

Meeting with Deputy Governor

On December 11, 2003, Prof. Azat Vartanian, President of IIA-Canada, Mr. Vasily Saikov, the Mayor of Slyudyanka, as well as a group of businessmen representing ZAO "Life Water of Baikal" met with



Hon. Dr. Irina I. Dumova, the Deputy Governor of Irkutsk Region
During this meeting, the project of implementing a modern water bottling plant on the Lake Baikal was discussed.
Dr. Dumova confirmed that this project was welcomed and supported by Regional and Local Governments.


Dundee Cooperation

As part of the cooperation programs with Dundee Precious Metals Inc., the Canadian entity involved in the mining sector, the International Informatization Academy has organized several official meetings for Mr. Jonathan Goodman, CEO and President, and Mr. James Small, Vice-President, to present plans of Dundee Precious Metals Inc. at the top level. This will help ensure the state support to its activities in Armenia.

Mr. J. Goodman and Mr. J. Small met Hon. Robert Kocharyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia on November 27, 2007.

On November 28, 2007 they met with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Hon. Serge Sargsyan.

All aspects of the cooperation between Dundee Precious Metals Inc. and the State have been discussed. High officials of the Republic of Armenia welcomed Dundee Co. in Armenia.

Dundee's representatives had several very productive meetings with Hon. Aram Harutyunyan, the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.

Charles Aznavour










On April 20, 2009, the University of Montreal awarded Mr. Charles Aznavour with a honorable doctorate diploma in recognition to his exceptional contribution to the french culture around the world. The ceremony took place at the Ernest-Cormier amphitheatre of the Roger-Gaudry pavillion at the University of Montreal.

The International Informatization Academy attended this private ceremony and was gladly received by Mr. Aznavour himself.

During the meeting, Mr. Aznavour noted that he would gladly receive the IIA delegation in Switzerland where he currently resides.
