The International Informatization Academy supported the distribution and promotion of a great book titled "Atlas of Armenian History" by Romik Hovhannisyan.

Business Trip to Irkutsk Oblast

International Informatization Academy (Canada) (IIA) had been approved as a General Manager of two water bottling projects. Water bottling plants in Russia (Baikal) and in Kyrgyzstan with capacities of one million liters per day (each plant). In May 2004 IIA organized a business trip of representatives of ZAO "Life of Baikal" (Russia) and "Global Mountain Water Resources" (Kyrgyzstan) to Luxembourg and France to visit facilities of "Husky" and "Sidel", the main technology and equipment suppliers for the Water bottling projects. This trip became available because of "Husky" representation office in Moscow.

In April 2004 IIA organized a business trip to Irkutsk Oblast (Russia) for the representatives of "Sidel" and "Husky". On April 20, 2004 our delegation had very productive meeting with

 

Hon. A. Bitarov, the First Deputy Governor of Irkutsk Oblast. Hon. A. Bitarov confirmed that this project has high priority for his government and will have all necessary support from it.

On April 21 the delegation participated in the public hearing of the project in Slyudyanka region of Irkutsk Oblast. Over 150 people including deputies of the local Duma, representatives of local government participated on that meeting. Mr. Ph. Sarazin, the head of "Sidel" representation office in Russia and Mr. M. Kuzman, the head of "Husky" representation office in Russia answered to all questions related to the implementation of the project as well to ecological aspects of the project.

Annual Charity Concert 2005

On June 25, 2005 the International Informatization Academy in collaboration with "Charite Soleil Levant" and the Government of Canada organized "Les Dances Folkloriques de la Jeunesse du Quebec" dedicated to the Multiculturalism Day and Canada Day. The concert had as its purpose to encourage multiculturalism and present to the wider audience the various cultures of Quebec through the art of dance. The event was held at the reputable "Salle Wilfrid Pelletier" of "La Place des Arts" in Montreal, Quebec.

As part of the cultural activities of the International Informatization Academy, on November 26, the concert/reception of the famous armenian pop singer Tata Simonyan was organized in Montreal. The event was held at "Le Chateau Royal" reception center. The Academy collaborated with the Armenian Student Association of Montreal and the City Hall of Montreal to organize the event.

Dance Group Visits Russia and Armenia

In July 2003, the International Informatization Academy organized the visit of Garni Dance Group of Montreal to Russia (Moscow) and Armenia (Yerevan).

 


 

Both concerts were very successful and very welcomed by the people.

The first concert took place on July 3, 2003 at Moscow's Central State Concert Hall "Russia".

The second concert was held on July 8, 2003 at Yerevan's Comedy and Musical Theatre after Hakop Paronyan.

Two other charitable concerts were organized in the cities of Garni and Razdan.

These concerts were all devoted to "Canada Day" and "Canadian Multiculturalism Day".
